The Origin Story

Paul Okewunmi, affectionately known as P. Paul (The Great), is a poet, spoken word artist, and public speaker recognized for his powerful voice and inspiring presence. He is deeply passionate about youth development and human transformation, using his words, creativity, and platform to motivate individuals—especially young people—to discover purpose, build confidence, and pursue meaningful impact in their lives and communities.

As the founder of Vision for the Young, Paul Okewunmi established this purpose-driven platform in 2019 out of a deep concern for the future of young people and a passion to inspire them to see beyond their immediate limitations. Since its inception, Vision for the Young has reached secondary schools and universities across Ota, Ogun State, Nigeria, offering hope, direction, and practical motivation to students at critical stages of their lives.
